This will only be possible if we have high-quality liquid membranes.

3. Purpose of the flushing plan for mechanical seals

Injecting liquid directly into the high-pressure side of a double or single seal is called "flushing". General pumps should be flushed, especially light hydrocarbon pumps.

1. Rinse to dissipate heat. The heat generated by the liquid seal must be controlled. This can be achieved by flushing the sealed chamber with liquid to remove heat and control the temperature rise.

2. Lower the liquid temperature. In some cases, the liquid temperature is too high to affect the sealing performance. In such cases, the temperature must be reduced to improve the performance of the liquid.

3. Change the seal chamber pressure. In some cases, it is necessary to increase or decrease the seal chamber pressure to improve performance. This can be achieved by evaporating or reducing the heat load on the seal.

4. Clean process liquids. If the process liquid contains inappropriate solid particles or contaminants, the liquid in the sealed chamber needs to be cleaned. In extreme cases, it may also be necessary to provide clean liquids from outside the sealed system.

5. Control the atmospheric side of the seal. Because process liquids come into contact with the atmosphere, they may dry out, crystallize, or coke. It is important to prevent interaction with the atmosphere to avoid adversely affecting sealing performance.
